Professional Experience

Jack McCombs is a technical writer who has been engaged in writing patent applications for the practice for the past 26 years.  Mr. McComb’s expertise is primarily in the mechanical and aviation fields, and he has written a large number of successful patent applications for games and other devices and systems.  Jack has achieved an excellent record of over 70% of his patent applications being allowed by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to working with Intellectual Property Law, Mr. McCombs was engaged in aviation, primarily as a pilot, but he spent some time in aviation maintenance and museum work as well.  Jack has acquired over a dozen certificates and ratings from the Federal Aviation Administration in the course of his aviation activities.

Personal Interests

Jack maintains his aviation qualifications by flying and maintaining his personal aircraft for recreation.  He is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and the Soaring Society of America.  He is also a member of local sports car clubs, and is involved with those clubs in driving and maintaining his cars.
