Professional Experience 

Warren Edmonds handles post patent application filing matters, assigning, reviewing, and filing USPTO communications, including amendments, petitions, and appeals. 

Mr. Edmonds is a former Patent Examiner at the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he had more than 10 years of experience examining patent applications pertaining to electricity, measuring, and testing. His area of technical expertise is in spectrum dependent equipment (SDE) certification processes with a particular knowledge base in radar systems, radio communication systems, telemetry systems, and electronic warfare (EW) systems. He applies his knowledge of the national electromagnetic spectrum allocations in reviewing and evaluating major spectrum dependent equipment applications and in the preparation and prosecution applications for U.S. Patents.

Prior to joining the practice, Mr. Edmonds provided electrical engineering analysis and recommendations on projects for the U.S. Department of the Navy and Marine Corps while working at the Odyssey Consultant Group, Alexandria, VA. In this role he served as the Host Nation Coordination (HNC) Action Officer for the Department of the Navy in respect to RF spectrum.  HNC is the protocol for providing technical specifications for all Naval RF emitting equipment devices to foreign nations where corresponding equipment is installed. 

Additionally, Mr. Edmonds worked for several years as a patent agent in a law firm where he prepared patent applications for Nortel Networks, Nokia Cellular Telephones, and Stanley Tools.
