Professional Experience

Remmon Fordé has overseen PCT and foreign region and country patent filings for the practice since December 2008. Mr. Fordé is an experienced navigator of Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) filing routes. He coaches clients on selecting an International Search Authority (ISA) to fit their needs, and alerts clients on the pluses and minuses of various US-PCT-foreign patent filing strategies, including filing for foreign patent protection claiming priority from a U.S. utility patent application.

Before joining the practice in 2007, Mr. Fordé had six years of experience as an Electrical Engineering Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) where he examined applications for active solid-state devices including transistors and solid state diodes.

After graduation from Florida State University, Mr. Fordé worked as a B2 Electronics Engineer for the U.S. Department of Defense.
